“I am an emerging researcher committed to ethical, robust and collaborative research across the health sciences. I have a background in occupational therapy, community development and public health, so bring to my research an applied understanding of diverse health contexts. I have particular interests in how people’s lives and actions are shaped by the environmental contexts in which they live, work and play – this includes an emphasis on understanding the social determinants of health as well as broader theoretical applications around human flourishing, identity and agency in modern society. I am also motivated to explore public, popular and professional understandings of different concepts related to health, risk, and disease. I aim to conduct multidisciplinary research where possible to increase the scope, insight and translation of my research.
I believe the University Higher Degrees by Research Committee is critically important to maximise the quality of HDR outcomes and stimulate the success of the wider university. HDR students are central to a thriving university and must be represented well at all levels of governance. Please don't hesitate to get in touch with ideas or queries regarding committee business.”
“I am a PhD student in the College of Business, Government and Law. I am passionate about building a sense of community and belonging amongst students. Representing the diverse range of voices that HDR students have is essential to building the foundation of a community, particularly when regarding HDR policy and procedure discussions. Please get in touch if you have any concerns, opinions, or queries regarding the HDR program”.

In compliance with the Code, the University has appointed research integrity advisors to advise University staff and students on all matters relating to research integrity, the Code, and relevant University policies.
These advisors also act as potential contacts for any staff member or student wanting to make, or considering making, an allegation of research misconduct.
