Before you jump into enrolling in topics and registering for classes, it’s important you take a moment to understand your course requirements.
You should have already:
It is essential that you read and understand your course rule. It is your responsibility to ensure that you understand what is required to meet the requirements of your course.
Select your course below to find the link to the course rule. This can also be found on the Compass page.

A course rule is the statement of the completion requirements and program of study for your course. You must read your course rule and seek advice if you do not understand what is required.
Study planners have been prepared for most courses to help guide your enrolment. They will assist in interpreting your course rule, and will help you to determine what topics to study (and when) to successfully complete your degree.
You can search for your study planner using keywords in the search bar. It is strongly recommended that you enrol as per your study planner to ensure you meet the requirements of your course.
A study planner is a PDF document designed to help you understand what topics to take, and in which order, to help you meet the requirements of your course.
Most courses will allow you to enrol in elective or option topics, which are available from across the University, or from a pre-determined list as detailed in your course rule. Read your course rule (you will find the link below by selecting your course) for more information or submit an Ask Flinders request (select the ‘enrolments’ option) to speak with a staff member if you are unsure.

'Elective' or 'option' topics are those that can be chosen as part of your course. (This differs to core topics which are compulsory topics which form the basis of your course).
Now that you have planned your studies, you are ready to enrol in topics and register for classes.
